Does ampanet GmbH use cookies?

We use so-called "cookies" on our websites. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved to your browser. The use of cookies enables our web server to recognize your browser, your individual settings on our web pages and, if applicable, parts of the login data in encrypted form, which allows you to log-on automatically. This makes using our pages convenient for you. The settings in our browser allow you to reject cookies, delete cookies from your computer, block cookies or ask your permission before a cookie is set. The cookies we set will be deleted from your computer after each browsing session.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service, Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies. These text files are stored on your computer and are used to analyse how you use the website. The data generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored.

If an IP anonymiser is enabled on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases only is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports of website activities and deliver other services related to website use and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address sent by your browser to Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. In the corresponding settings of your browser software you can prevent that cookies are being stored; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the fullest extent possible.

Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking

This offering uses the online advertising program Google AdWords, operated by Google Inc. ("Google") in the USA and conversion tracking is a part of this. For this purpose, cookies are used. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to identify you. If a user visits certain pages of this offer and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google may know that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Google AdWords customer has a different cookie. Websites of AdWords customers, cannot track these cookies. Data collected with the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. Customers will be told the total number of users who clicked their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. Advertisers do not receive data that would identify users. Users, who do not want to be tracked, can easily disable the Google Conversion Tracking cookie under User Preferences of their Internet browser. These users will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Read more:

Use of social plugins

We use plugins from the social media network, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").

These plugins allow you to share content or recommend products, for example. The plugins are disabled by default and do not send any data. You can enable all plugins by clicking the "Activate Social Media" button (so-called 2-click solution).

Once these plugins are active, your browser will connect directly to the servers of the social media platform whenever you access our website. The content of the plugin will be sent by the social media platform directly to your browser and the browser will embed it into the website. You can, of course, disable the plugins with one click.

When the plugin is active, the social network receives the information that you have accessed a certain page of our website. If you are logged in, the social media platform can link the visit to your account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, when you click Facebook's "Like" button or leave a comment, this information is then sent directly from your browser to the social network, where it is stored.

Read the privacy policy of the social media platform on the purpose and scope of the data collection and how data is processed and used by social networks, as well as your rights in this regard including setting options to protect your privacy. This is the link to Facebook's Privacy Policy: Facebook Privacy Notice. If you do not want social media platforms to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of these networks before visiting our website.

Even though you are not logged on to the social media platform, websites can send data to the networks if the social media plugin is enabled. An active plugin sets a cookie with an identifier every time the web page is requested. Because your browser sends this cookie automatically every time you connect to a network server, the network basically would be able to create a profile containing the web pages viewed by the ID linked to the user. It may then also be quite possible to link this identifier to a person later on - when, for example logging on to the social media platform.

If you do not want social networks to collect data about you through active plugins, you can simply deactivate the social media plugins on our web pages with one click or select the function "Block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

If done so, the browser will not send contents of other providers embedded in the cookies to the server. However, if you have this function enabled, besides the plugins, other cross-page features may not work either.

Facebook Tracking Pixel

We do use on our site also a Facebook tracking Pixel (that is, a "visitor's activity pixel"). With these means we can track user activities after they have viewed or clicked on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected that way is anonymous for us, which means that we do not see personal data of individual users. Nevertheless, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook can link this data with the user's Facebook account and may also use it for their own advertising purposes in line with Facebook's data usage policy. You can enable Facebook and its affiliates to display ads on and off Facebook.

Use of external links

Websites of ampanet GmbH contain links to other websites, which are not operated by ampanet GmbH and we do not have any control over security nor content of such sites. For these websites, the privacy policy of ampanet GmbH does not apply, only the privacy policy of the respective operator of the websites.

Some of our websites have YouTube videos embedded. The operator of the plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cerry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. The YouTube plugin will connect to YouTube's servers when you visit a page. This will tell YouTube, which pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube is able to link your browsing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. For more information on how user data is handled, read YouTube's Privacy Policy.

Trusted Shops

We have the Trusted Shops Trust Badge embedded on this website to display our Trusted Shops quality seal and collected reviews as well as to show offerings of Trusted Shops products to buyers following an order.

This serves the protection of our interests to optimal market our offerings, which we found legitimate after careful consideration of all relevant interests. The Trustbadge and the services advertised are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.

When the Trustbadge is viewed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file that may contain, for example, your IP address, date and time of request, data volume transmitted and the requesting provider (access data) and thus documents the activity. This access data will not be evaluated. Within seven days after you visited the page, it will be overwritten automatically.

Other personal data will be sent to Trusted Shops only, if you have consented to this; or if you opt to use Trusted Shops products after the completion of our purchase order; or if you have already signed up for use. The contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops will apply in this case.
